Frank Hider
British artist born 1861 to 1933. Painter in oil and sometimes watercolour of coastal scenes are rural landscapes. The oils were often inscribed with the title on the reverse. His style and colour are similar to S.Y. Johnson, but he usually painted with a broader technique. Frank lived at Forest Gate, Essex for a number of years and died on the 29th November 1933.
